As the Vancouver Olympics draw ever closer, here is a run-down of the areas that will be hosting the various events throughout the Olympics.

GM Place, Yaletown

Located just 2km from the Olympic Village, and with a venue capacity of 18,630 GM Place will host the men’s and women’s Ice Hockey Events. GM Place is located right beside the ‘Stadium’ station on the SkyTrain.

The Converted Vancouver Yaletown Heritage Buildings are home to Vancouver City’s top design and fashion shops. Old loading docks are great for taking a walk, or relaxing on one of many of the outdoor patios.
